Half Term with Secret Girl- Saturday

Hey peeps!
I had such a great time making my series titled 'Half Term with Secret Girl' that I decided to carry them on this weekend, instead of my Secret Girl's Weekend outfits! This weekend is super exciting because my sister had a birthday party today and tomorrow she's having a special birthday family day, in London Zoo! Happy Birthday to Secret Sister for Monday! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to you! Happy birthday to Secret Sister! Happy birthday to you! You might also notice my blogs are slightly shorter on a Saturday, because I try to post on this blog, my second blog, and my main blog all on Saturday! (Click on the underlined purple blog names to take you there!) If you notice any mistakes in this post, apologies. It's probably because I'm doing it 5 minutes at a time, with 5 minutes on homework in between! Anyway, after that super long intro I'm ready to get on with the post!
OUTFIT:
I wore a cropped tank top, with horizontal black, white and royal blue stripes. I paired this with high-wasted jeans, making me look super tall, and a black kimono.
HAIR:
I twisted a French plait across my fringe and forehead, leaving the remaining hair down and straightened.
MAKE-UP:
I wore a pink glittery lip gloss (which is my favourite of all time!) from Seventeen, in Moonshine Violet Glitter Rainbow. I didn't wear any face make-up, because my skin is dry, flaky and gross today- I just applied extra moisturiser and a BB cream, if that counts as make-up. I used my Claire's (don't judge- cheap mascaras can surprise you!) mascara, a shimmery rose-gold cream eyeshadow from Avon in Pink Lemonade and winged eye-liner. I don't usually wear eye-liner, but I thought a party was a great excuse to give it a go!
ACTIVITY:
It was my sister's birthday party today. It was in Gallone's ice cream parlour, in a small arcade located in Bedford. She had a great time, and I'd certainly recommend it from other 8/9 year olds! For a fun twist, she suggested her friends arrive in PJs and onesies, which were a lot of fun. My friend and I had a great time sampling ice-cream, eating sweets and... What was it? Oh yeah, eating more sweets!

Thanks for reading,
If you'd like me to do a similar series next holiday (Easter) I'd be happy to! These kind of posts will be delivered every Sunday, for my weekend outfits! On my main blog (click here to see) I'll be posting a weekend/holiday morning routine next. Afterwards, I'll make a post on my second blog (which I haven't posted on in months) with a Friday night evening spa routine! If you're reading on the 20th of February, at about 6:00, I probably haven't uploaded it yet! They'll both be up by 9:00pm!

Milton Keynes mini haul!!!

Hey peeps!
today I have what I would call a major haul, but for most would count as mini! I splurged on some nice new clothes, and lush products. I hope this gives you a taste of my fashion sense, and is nice and relaxing for you to watch. This haul also includes a mini haul from yesterday's trip (don't worry, I don't shop too often).
  • In New Look, I purchased a baggy, light-weight knitwear jumper. It's black in the area that would be a tank-top, if there weren't the sleeves. The sleeves are a slightly toned-down grey. At the bottom on each side there's a zip.
  • In Lush, I got the creamy candy bubble bar, the fluffy egg bath bomb (from the easter stock) and the ickle baby bot. The creamy candy bar and fluffy egg bath bomb both smell similar, like marshmallow and sugar- so sickly, in a good way! If you've tried the mmmmelting marshmallow bath oil (in my opinion the only one that smeel great!) it smells similar to that.
  • In H&M I purchased a set of 6 rose gold rings for only £3.99. 2 are infinity designs, to are plain rings and 2 are created with dots, with a bumpy texture. Some are knuckle rings and some are normal.
  • Because I had a £25 River Island voucher, I allowed myself to splurge there! In the end I spent £30 there, which isn't too much over. I got a heavy, baggy cardi- but is a perfect throw on, and will match with most things because it's only got a black and white weaved pattern. Then, I purchased a tank top, with blue, white and black horizontal stripes. I'm really feeling the stripe vibe right now!
  • In lush yesterday I bought the intergalactic bath bomb.
  • In H&M yesterday I bought a set of 3 bracelets (as you can see, H&M is great for jewellery), each with a gold chain, a type of bead and a second thread in a neon colour. one is pink, one blue and one yellow. These are perfect for school because they aren't too bold, and at my school you're only allowed to wear 1 bracelet, but because these are so dainty you get away with 3!
  • In boots, I bought my sister a 'bath pillow'. It's from soap and glory, and basically just inflates, with sticky suck pads on the back so it sticks, giving you a comfortable pillow for your bath.
  • In lush (again), I bought her the intergalactic bath bomb she had asked for, which I couldn't resist getting the next day for myself, as you've already read!
  • In Peacocks (a shop that deserves more 'fame' than it gets- it's great for kids-wear) I bought her some Pjs, which say CAN'T SLEEP, WON'T SLEEP in pink and white glitter on a black top, matching the grey leggings wit black stars.
  • In Wilko, as a random extra, I bought her an eye-mask for sleepoing with because she always steals mine! It's from their varsity stationery collection, and is a vibrant turquoise, with coral flowers and SERIOUSLY written across the front.
I hope you're all desperate to go buy these things now- in a good way! I hope it didn't seem like I was showing off, because I wasn't at all. If you comment below your style, I'll be happy to find the perfect outfit for you through online shopping!
Thanks,

Half term with Secret Girl Thursday/Friday

Hey peeps!
I'm sorry I didn't post yesterday; I was so busy! I'll ensure to make it up for you with this double post! Also, it will have a mini haul from my shopping trip yesterday! Enjoy!
Thursday
Outfit:
I paired black leggings with a square, loose top, which is plain white, with blue navy tassels across the hemline.
Make-up:
I really felt like wearing make-up, so I went for: foundation, concealer, blush, a tiny bit of bronzer, mascara and this lovely eye-shadow simply all over my lids by No7, the middle shade from the Cappuccino trio. It's an ash-brown shade with a gold undertone- LOVE IT!!!
Hair:
I left my hair mostly down, with a French plait across my forehead.
Haul:
The haul is super-mini because we spent most of our shopping time in Nandos- yum! (I got a chicken burger, chips, corn on the cob and strawberry cordial for my drink- I also couldn't resist a cinnamon and sugar pretzel later on!) I purchased the lush bath bomb, intergalactic, 3 bracelets (one pink, one yellow and one blue) and my sisters birthday present, which remains a secret until after her birthday!

Friday
Outfit:
I'm wearing a black skater skirt, Aztec neon crop top, black tights and a converse jacket.
Make-up:
Bare face today!
Hair:
I've straightened it, but left it down. I recently had my hair cut so it's in tip-top condition! However, last night I washed it for the first time after having it cut (I know- ewwww- 3 days!) and it always looks hideous. It took my about half an hour to fully tame it and straighten it, baring in mind my hair is just below shoulder length!
Today's activity:
Shopping (again) but with a different friend, but we'll mostly spend our time in MK having a nice meal!

Thanks for reading the last of my half-term series,

Half Term with Secret Girl- Wednesday

Hey peeps!
Today I wanted to write my post nice and early (for me anyway- I only just woke up and got ready)! I have a friend coming round this morning and a sleepover in the evening, so this is my only free slot to blog!
OUTFIT:
I wore my comfy black jeggings today, because I'll be inside all day! Then I wore a red, long-sleeved crop-top, which is very cropped- but my jeggings are high wasted to it didn't look too showy! I'm wearing the same nail polish as yesterday and no jewellery.
HAIR:
My hair's simply straightened, and down after my hair-cut! After writing that sentence, I realised how boring I was being, therefore I added a plain black braided head-band! I'm feeling kinda vintage today, with my red top, cute head-band and back jeggings!
MAKEUP:
I just wore a BB cream today, from Garnier, as my main thing. Then, I used a lip-liner in a rustic red shade, and filled in my whole bottom lip. I applied baby-lips to my top lip and then blended the two together, for a more natural look. I also applied plenty of mascara!
Thanks for reading yet another of my half term series,

10 AMAZING Superdrug foundations

Hey peeps!
I'm currently watching Dance Moms, eating carrot and humus and browsing on Superdrug. I wanted to make a random list for you full of foundations I think are great! Some I own, some I don't. All of these products are currently available on Superdrug's site. Each thing underlined purple is a link to the product.
Foundation:
  1. A healthy serum mix foundation, Bourjois. So many people, especially with sensitive or young skin, avoid foundation because rumour has it that foundation is terrible for your skin. This solves the problem, and still has plenty of coverage.
  2. A matte mouse foundation, Maybelline. Maybelline isn't the only brand to do one of these, but this one has a particularly good amount of coverage. There are downsides to this foundation. For example, if you have oily skin it would be more prone to sliding off. Also, it will strip moisture from your skin, which is really bad if you're prone to dry patches on your skin like me. However, it gives full coverage, is easy to apply and is super long lasting. I'd recommend it for evening parties.
  3. Wake me up, Rimmel. What would foundations be without Rimmel. This one, Wake me up, is a particular favourite. It applies smoothly, especially when you buff it in with a beauty blender. All Rimmel foundations are amazing! A great thing about Rimmel foundations is that they have a range of shades. Many drugstore foundations consist of only 3 shades- light, medium and dark.
  4. True match foundation, L'Oreal. This foundation also comes in a good range of shades, and has light coverage. It's a fairly silky and liquidy. I find it works best with a flat foundation brush, to stroke and pat in.
  5. All day flawless 3 in 1 foundation, Max Factor. This foundation is super good for your skin- it's a primer, foundation and concealer. Money saver! This is a really cool product- I think it deserves more praise and publicity that it's getting!
  6. Garnier BB cream. I use this product most days on my skin, because I don't usually feel like heavily applying foundation to my skin first thing in the morning, knowing it'll be on my skin all day- eww. Instead, I go for a lighter option of a BB cream (usually this one) and use foundation at weekends, when I have more time and flexibility for my make-up.
  7. Maybelline dream satin liquid foundation. This is in the top rankings on the superdrug website- so it must be good!
  8. MUA foundation. I love MUA- most products are £1-£5, so they're really cheap! I love their liquid concealer, at only £1.50!
  9. Rimmel's lasting finish. I'm probably the only person who hasn't actually tried this out, and am desperate to! I've heard so many good things about this foundation! Let us know in the comments if you've tried it yourself.
  10. B flawless complete coverage foundation, by B.. This foundation is another one I haven't tried, but many of my friends have. It's been proven a popular foundation, although not major like the Rimmel ones. I recken the chances are it's pretty good. Why not try it out? If you have tried it and liked it, let us know your reiview in the comments below, and if we like it we'll instert it HERE. Obviously, we'll leave the link to your blog/site to ensure you get more views from it!

Half Term with Secret Girl- Tuesday

Hey peeps!
We're here again, for our daily half-term fashion chit chat! My days of relaxation are over for the holidays, as I await tomorrow's sleepover, Thursday's shopping, Friday's shopping and Saturday's party!
Today, I bought this new top at about 11 this morning, which was fairly early. Therefore, I put it on when I got home and am counting it as my outfit! It's slightly cropped, so looks great with my high-wasted black jeans! The perfect nail polish for this outfit is my one from Miss Sporty. It's a vibrant, neon pastel shade- which is such a weird but amazing combination!
Today I was feeling a make-up day- so I went all out for some make-up! I actually didn't wear this out, because I organised it around my new top! The lipstick I'm wearing is Rimmel's Tantrum, a blood-red shade. I think this complements the T-Shirt well because it looks almost retro vintage. The lipstick was the main statement of the make-up. For concealer, I used my usual MUA cover and conceal liquid concealer. I applied this lightly under my eyes and around my nose (to hide red marks from my cold). To blend it in further and give my whole face more coverage, I used my Garnier BB cream in light. I blended the two in by buffing with my beauty blender. For contour, I used this really old One Direction (cheap) bronzer, using the lighter shade all over my face very lightly to add some tan to my complexion and the darker one under my jaw-line, along my cheekbones and to line my forehead. I used my Beauty UK blusher (mixing the bronze and pinks) on my cheekbones. Then, I used my No7 shimmer stick to highlight. For eyes, I used my No7 eyeshadow in mink all over my eyelid. I blended a tope shade into my crease from MUA, the 5th anniversary palette which is sadly limited edition!
Today, the main aim was to get some things for my sister's party bags, so I managed to oersuade my mum to buy me an Astor mini palette and fluffy socks (from poundland) instead of the cuddly toys and things for my sister's friends.

Half Term with Secret Girl- Monday

Hey peeps!
I'm starting a new series of blog posts, where I'll tell you my outfit, activity and random things about my day! I've noticed I hardly ever blog on my own blog any more, so today I'm planning to start a new blog, where I can track my page-views properly! The main point of today is to visit Bedford, where my sister is having her party, and check it out!
My outfit for today is a white T-Shirt with ombre hearts starting with blue, fading to pink. I decided to wear my converse bomber jacket for warmth and just black jeggings.

What's on my desk

Hey peeps!
Your desk is really important to you, and if you have one I'm sure you'll understand. It's where you study, chill, blog and DIY! I keep specific things on my desk, and am always prepared for certain things, by having essentials like tape, scissors and at least 1 pen! This post will basically be a truthful list of everything that's on my desk; I think it's pretty organised!
  1. Post-it's, in squares
  2. Post-it's in heart shapes
  3. My iPod touch
  4. My iPod touch charger, neatly wound up
  5. Tape
  6. Arrow post-its for revising
  7. A few hair-clips and bobby pins
  8. Notice board pins
  9. Paper clips
  10. A few rubbers
  11. Some sharpeners
  12. Sometimes I have emergency gum or chocolate!
  13. 5 lip balms (a different one depending on how my lips are!): eos sweet mint (for super dry lips or priming my lips before my make-up), Nivea soft rose (for chapped lips), Nivea fruity shine watermelon (for sores in the corners of my lips), W7 lip bomb (for normal lips that just need some moisture or scent or priming!) and Claire's disco ball (for a glossy look!).
  14. Highlighters and gel pens for studying and presentation work
  15. A few colouring pencils
  16. Writing pens in black, blue, red and green
  17. 4rolls of washi tape: pink with dark pink hearts, white with black moustaches, pink glittery flowers and black with white polka dots.
That's it! Have you got any suggestions for what I should have out on my desk? How many of these do you agree are TOTAL essentials? If reading, comment below 'cupcake!'. The prize for the first comment is us to view their blog and leave the link at the end of our next blog.

Secret Girl's weekend outfits 14th Feb

Hey peeps!
I'm here again for our weekly fashion chatter, sharing with you my outfit from the weekend! I've a fairly formal event to look forward to in about 1 hour today, so forgive me for a slightly rushed post! You might notice today's outfit is smarter than my usual.
SATURDAY:
I paired a white top, with floral cut-outs and a scallop hem-line, with black leggings and a floral grey-scale kimono. I love this outfits because it's smart, yet cute and has a feminine edge. I was having a relaxed day yesterday (shopping and texting) and planned out way too many events for the holidays (I'm literally seeing friends every day!). For jewellery, I wore a friendship bracelet that I share with Girl Behind The Screens and 2 pink small bangles.
SUNDAY:
As I have a formal event, I went for a chiffon-fabric top. It's a magenta purple shade, with flowers printed heavily at the top, and less and less working down the top, like a gradient. It also has a high-low hemline, which makes it more appropriate for a family event. I matched it with black jeggings, that have 2 copper zips in each pocket area. Finally, a black lacey kimono with a long elephant statement necklace (it sounds ugly but it's really cute!). For jewellery, as well as my necklace, I wore a bracelet with a silver diamante infinity symbol and black pearly beads. My nails are painted in a powder purple, to match the top, by Rimmel in ultra violet. On the ring finger, I've drawn a leopard print pattern in black, because there are elements of leopard print in my top.

Thanks for reading this blog! I hope you enjoyed,
